SECURE’s blending plant sits on six acres in Blackfalds, Alberta and holds a variety of different raw materials. With eight blend vessels capable of manufacturing up to 185,000 litres/day and 40,000 litres/day of slurry.
The plant also includes:
- 8,000 square foot blend room
- 13 storage tanks for a combined capacity of 1,211,000 litres (with room for future expansion of 252 m3 in the new tank farm)
- 36,000 square foot main warehouse
- 6,000 square foot secondary warehouse
- 6,660 square foot office space
Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)
SECURE’s Blackfalds blending plant is a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) lab. QA/QC labs analytically evaluate raw materials coming into the blend plant to ensure that all pass established quality standards. All finished products go through a rigorous QA/QC check, both pre and post packaging.
Additionally, SECURE’s QA/QC Lab has a non-conformance and corrective action policy and plan for any raw materials and/or SECURE finished production chemical products.
