As part of our commercial and transportation services, we have successfully built a light oil feeder pipeline system and receipt terminal in the Kindersley-Kerrobert region of Saskatchewan.

The newly constructed system will gather crude oil from multiple oil producers and transport the product to a SECURE owned and operated terminal and tankage. From here, the product will be delivered onto the Enbridge Pipeline mainline at Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. This new infrastructure has been up and running since October 1, 2018.

Gathering System

SECURE's new pipeline gathering system is an eight-inch diameter line stretching approximately 10km in length, terminating at SECURE’s existing 4-18 pump station. Additional facilities are tied in to this gathering line by way of small diameter, lateral pipelines. Each location will has a Lease Automated Custody Transfer (LACT) facility to facilitate measurement and quality control.

Pipeline and Terminal

The terminal and pipeline stretching 27km between the new Kerrobert terminal and Kindersley FST is now complete. This culminates in a connection to the Enbridge mainline out of the Kerrobert Terminal, acting as a downstream carrier allowing access to eastern Canada and export markets.
This project is a direct result of our customer focused approach of providing value added services.
Please see our Pipeline Resources and Landowners page for more information regarding SECURE's commercial and transportation facility safety and standards.
