Hello, Neighbour!

Our construction team moves into a variety of small communities on a regular basis, and we’re always looking to build and maintain the positive relationships we have with our neighbors.

While constructing the now completed Rocky Mountain House FST, our team was able to help the local longstanding Boy Scout Facility, the Goldeye Centre, in Nordegg, AB.

After finding that the lumber mill wouldn’t want the poplar wood we recovered from the site, our local construction supervisor brought to attention that perhaps the Goldeye Centre could benefit; after all, they had just installed a wood boiler for pumping heat into the facility.

Seventeen truckloads later, the non-profit youth and adolescent facilities heating costs will be dramatically cut for the year so they can continue to run camps, corporate retreats and school programs with a lower overhead cost.
