Last month, our Metals Recycling facility in Brooks partnered with the local Royal Canadian Air Cadets to save 13,380 lbs of household metal waste from the landfill. Thanks to the community of Brooks rallying behind them, the Air Cadets raised $1,282 for their saved scrap metal.
As James Cochran, Manager of Operations at Brooks Metals Recycling described, this initiative was "a huge success"... A win for the environment and a win for community!
