Every November, Team SECURE come together to raise funds, have discussions and bring awareness to men’s mental and physical health. Movember provides an important opportunity for us to break down stigmas and raise money for a life-saving cause. Though growing a mustache is a classic symbol of Movember, Team SECURE participates in many different ways including movement, hosting events and bake sales and providing opportunities to have conversations.

On Wednesday, July 12, SECURE hosted it's ninth annual Charity Stampede Party, supporting three different charities including, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Providence, and the Canadian Red Cross in support of both the Alberta Wildfires and Ukraine. 

They are our fathers, our brothers, and our sons. They are our friends, our colleagues and our mentors. They are the men in our lives, and their mental and physical health is important all year round. But for the month of November, Movember, and all who support them, rally together to raise funds, have vital conversations, and raise awareness surrounding men’s health.

On September 8, 2022, a group of 30 SECURE employees from across the company participated in the Doig River Waste Round-up at the Doig River First Nation (DRFN) northeast of Fort St. John, BC.

One area that we continue to support since our inception in 2007 is sport, and on behalf of all of us at SECURE, we are so proud to be an official sponsor for the Foothills WFC in the United Women’s Soccer League (UWS) this summer.

SECURE set a freshwater usage reduction target of 5% in 2022.

As a part of SECURE’s initiative to reduce freshwater usage by 5% in 2022, the LaGlace Full Service Terminal (LGFST) has been working on reducing the amount of fresh water used in the facility's day-to-day operations. They have been working closely with Operations Projects to optimize and assess several parts of the facility to closely monitor their progress.

June is Pride Month in Canada – a month that celebrates the 2SLGTBQ+ community in a number of different ways. Although it’s a time to celebrate, it is also a reminder to stand in solidarity with 2SLGTBQ+ individuals.

Baytex Energy is one of many producers working in the Clearwater play, and a long-standing partner of the SECURE Fluid Management Division since 2014.

Our dedicated Drilling Fluids Technical Department has been diligently working with Baytex on this formation since 2019 to help build and refine a formation-specific fluid system.

This Baytex-SECURE working partnership has used a methodical approach to analyze core to ensure minimal damage and maximum regain which has helped Baytex achieve impressive drilling and production results over the past quarter. SECURE’s low damage Dual Salt system synergistically eliminates clay hydration, and maximizes production with flowback enhancing chemistry.
