Giving back is at the core of SECURE’s values.

Since our start, 15 years ago, we’ve demonstrated to our employees, customers, and community partners that our organization is driven to make a difference; in their lives and the lives of those in the communities in which we operate.

Since 2015, team SECURE has used this annual party, which is hosted at National 8th on the rooftop, to raise money for several different organizations. Each year, we see hundreds of charity partners, family, friends, and SECURE staff arrive for an afternoon of fun, while raising money for organizations close to our hearts.

We’re proud to share that SECURE’s annual Charity Stampede Party was another huge, sold-out success this year.

Thanks to our charity sponsors, special guests, employees and friends, we raised over $620,750, which will be donated across five charities, including:

As many know of SECURE, we can’t host our annual party without music.

In previous years, guests have danced to music from Colin James, 54-40, Trooper and more. This year, we were honoured to have Canadian rock legend, Tom Cochrane and his band, perform hits like, Life is A Highway, on the smoking hot rooftop.

“On behalf of all of us here at SECURE, we are so extremely thankful for everyone who has continued to support this event, year over year,” said Rene Amirault, President and CEO. “While we’ve always supported organizations local to Calgary, dollars raised this year also went towards those affected by the war in Ukraine. These people are so very much in our hearts and minds.”

One of the highlights of the party was the gift of an official Stampede white hat to newly hired SECURE employee, Yuri Mykhailenko.

Yuri, his wife Rimma and their 9-year-old daughter Dahrina left their home in Odessa in early June to settle in Calgary. Since arriving in Canada, Yuri joined SECURE’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) team as an EDI Specialist.

“We feel so very fortunate to be here in Canada,” explains Yuri. “It was great to enjoy our first Stampede as a family here in Calgary. I have been learning a lot and am very happy to be a part of the team at SECURE.”

Since the company began fundraising at this annual in event in 2015, SECURE has raised over $2 million dollars for charity.

Giving back to the community is part of our roots and why our key company events have a giving component. As always, events like this can only happen with the support and hard work of our many employees and volunteers who continue to support every year.

Thank you to everyone who made it out to this event for continuing to make it a success, and for making our charitable giving a possibility, every year.

We hope to see you next year!
